Richard Larsen is an Auckland-based writer and producer, with a background in television and broadcast radio.

He joined the RNZ team in February 2024, producing and helping to develop in-house current affairs talk-show 30 with Guyon Espiner, which is released on rnz.co.nz, YouTube, TVNZ+, broadcast on RNZ National and released as a podcast. As of January 2025, Richard is also an alternate presenter and news reader on RNZ National.

Richard says he enjoys collaborating with others to bring interesting topics and perspectives to listeners, viewers and readers.
